On Friday, March 21, former Wayne Community Jr-Sr High School standout Maddy Wood’s current college team, the Western Kentucky Lady Toppers, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UTEP Miners.

The game took place at Helen of Troy Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Miners this season.

The Lady Toppers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 3 p.m. at Helen of Troy Softball Complex against UTEP Miners.
