People using the Adams County Bridge will have to find an alternative route as the bridge will be closed for painting, according to Herald-Whig.
The project is contracted to Freesen, a United Contractors Midwest Inc. of Springfield division, and will cost $593,000.
The East 2873rd Lane and Siloam Springs Road are carried over the McKee Creek in eastern Adams will force motorists to use different routes, according to the Adams County Highway Department.
Located East of 2873rd Lane, North of 800th Avenue, and two miles south of Siloam Springs State Park, the bridge has been undergoing some repairs and renovations in the last year.
The Adams County Highway Department opened the bridge temporarily to handle traffic during winter and said that printing the steel will complete a whole year of work.
On April 6, the procedure to install scaffolding underneath the bridge will begin, with a total closure expected to happen at the end of the week.
