Decatur County Hospital recently issued the following announcement.
Traditionally, a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) is conducted once every three (3) years in a community, and is a partnership between all healthcare agencies in the area. As we work to plan the future of Decatur County Hospital and add services, this three year timeframe is hardly sufficient to truly be responsive to the needs of our community.
In response to this concern, we have designed a DCH Community Survey via Survey Monkey which we will open every six months for approximately two weeks at a time. This brief survey will allow us to gauge the impact of new services, and help direct the future direction of our healthcare system.
We invite all residents of Decatur County, or individuals who utilize services at Decatur County Hospital to take the survey every six months so we can have ongoing feedback from you. This will give us more real time data to better serve the community.
The DCH Community Survey is now available at the following web link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DCHCommunitySurvey. This survey will remain open through June 14, 2020.
