Census Bureau: More men than women in Shannon in 2019

Of the 80 people living in Shannon in 2019, 35 percent (28) were women and 65 percent (52) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Iowa News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 29-to-22. In the 65 and over age range, there were two females and nine males.
