Census Bureau: More women than men in Seymour in 2019

Of the 567 people living in Seymour in 2019, 51.1 percent (290) were women and 48.9 percent (277) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Iowa News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 165-to-124. In the 65 and over age range, there were 79 females and 86 males.
