Of the 613 people living in Moulton in 2019, 45.5 percent (279) were women and 54.5 percent (334) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Iowa News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 169-to-141. In the 65 and over age range, there were 37 females and 59 males.
