Southwestern Community College issued the following announcement.
Nevada High School softball player Addi Vorm has committed to the Spartans of Southwestern Community College for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Vorm will be a huge asset both on and off the field. She is an all-around athlete who has lettered in many sports, including softball, soccer, basketball, and track. For softball, she has received Third-Team All-State, First-Team All-Conference, Third-Team All-Conference, All-Conference Honorable Mention, and she has been a four-year letterwinner. Academically, Addi has been a three-year academic letterwinner and Academic All-Conference in every sport she's played.
The Southwestern coaches are confident that she will make an impact in the 2021 season.
"Vorm has all the right tools and abilities to make it at the next level," said former Spartan Head Coach Nick Weinmeister, who signed Vorm. "She has proven to be a hard worker in all she does and we are excited to have that kind of addition to our roster."
Vorm graduated from Nevada High School in May 2021.
Vorm is the daughter of Tony and Tasha Vorm of Nevada.
