Decatur County Hospital recently issued the following announcement.
Decatur County Hospital is pleased to welcome Janelle Golden, LMHC as the new Program Therapist at the Senior Life Solutions program.
Senior Life Solutions, an intensive outpatient group therapy program, is designed to meet the unique needs of senior struggling with age-related depression, anxiety, difficult life transitions, a recent health diagnosis, or the loss of a loved one. As a therapist, Janelle will be responsible for providing therapeutic services for patients utilizing group, individual, and family therapy sessions. She will focus on quality patient care and provision of services ordered by a physician.
Janelle graduated with her BS in Psychology from Hannibal-LaGrange University in 2013, and attended graduate school at Webster University in Rolla, MO for Clinical Mental Health Counseling from 2015-2017. Janelle has worked for Preferred Family Healthcare in Trenton, MO from 2018-2020 and then as PRN therapist with PMC since September 2020. Janelle is licensed as a mental health professional in Missouri and Iowa.
Golden, said, “I am so excited to continue my career here in Leon, and hope to encourage and empower our patients during my time here.”
