Southwestern Community College issued the following announcement on October 19.
Iowa State Senator Tom Shipley was on campus today touring SWCC's home simulation-lab, constructed for the electrical technology and carpentry and building trades programs.
This lab area, located in the Agricultural Sciences Center, simulates a real home allowing students opportunities to complete hands-on tasks related to their career fields in a safe and structured environment.
