The Iowa Hawkeyes Football beat Illinois Fighting Illini in a close fight 33-23 Saturday, Nov. 20 in the Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City, Iowa.
This game was frustrating for the Hawkeyes.

Despite the struggles from the Hawkeyes’ defenses, Caleb Shudak, a senior kicker, saved the team hitting 4-5 field goals, with his only miss coming from 58 yards and his longest at 51, SB Nation reported.
Kirk Ferentz, head coach for the Hawkeyes, tried to play the field position game in response, but Tory Taylor, a sophomore punter, whiffed on the snap for the punt and gave the Illini the ball with pristine field position, SB Nation reported.
Although it seemed like the Hawkeyes couldn’t play an effective offense, Tyler Goodson, a junior running back, and Gavin Williams, a running back right safety freshman, bled clock to set up another Shudak field goal, giving Illinois the ball back down 26-16 with just under two minutes left, SB Nation reported.
Iowa went into the game ranked No. 14, Hawk Central reported.
This game was played at Kinnick Stadium and was senior day for the Hawkeyes, Hawk Central reported.
