ServSafe Food Safety Certification Class on Jan. 10

Adams Community Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Title: ServSafe Food Safety Certification Class

Description:

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Adams County will be hosting a ServSafe® food safety certification class in Corning on January 10, 2022. Leah Brooke, Food and Health Specialist, will be teaching the class. This class will prepare individuals to become a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM), a requirement for food establishments in Iowa. 

The ServSafe® program blends information from the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research, and years of food sanitation training experience and is administered through the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. This class will be held in the conference room at the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Adams County office in Corning. Registration is due three weeks before the class date. For more information about the class or to register, contact the Adams County ISU Extension and Outreach Office at (641) 322-3184, call or email Leah Brooke at (641) 782-8426 or lbrooke@iastate.edu, or stop at the Adams County Extension Office located at 603 7th St. in Corning, Iowa. Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, Wednesday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and closed on Friday.
