City of Ottumwa recently issued the following announcement.
Second Street will be closed in front of Hotel Ottumwa for a utility repair starting Wednesday December 22nd.
Through traffic should avoid using 2nd Street between Market and Court Street until the work is completed.
The repair is expected to take several days.
