City of Ottumwa recently issued the following announcement.
Beginning on Monday, January 17th, 2022, the intersection of Railroad Street and Elm Street will be closed for storm sewer installation.
This is part of the Phase 8 sewer separation project. Weather permitting, expect the intersection to be closed for two weeks.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and exercise extreme caution when navigating in and around the construction zone.
