Decatur County Public Health is seeking a Full-time Public Health Nurse (PHN).
The PHN performs public health nursing duties, is responsible for monitoring core public health functions and essential services to Decatur County residents, and other functions to achieve the department's mission. Must have effective communication skills. Must be able to work efficiently and effectively with providers in all service areas. Start date would be June 1st, 2022.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Iowa. Two years of experience in public health or medical surgical preferred.
