Fall Cleanup

The City of Eldon will hold a Fall Cleanup Day on Thursday, October 13, 2022. This is a one-day event. This event gives the community a chance to get rid of unwanted items and helps promote the beautification of the city. It is an investment in our community and a worthwhile service to the residents.

During Fall Cleanup, city workers will pick up NO MORE THAN ONE of the following:

Refrigerators, freezers, carpet, air conditioners, lawn mowers, water heaters, bicycles, tricycles, washers and dryers, windows, furniture, mattresses and box springs. Car parts weighing no more than 40 pounds and scrap metal will be picked up also.

Please bag the items so they are not loose. LOOSE ITEMS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP.

ITEMS THAT WILL NOT BE PICKED UP INCLUDE:

Tires, new construction or demolition debris – including lumber, boards, concrete, bricks, asphalt, roofing materials – and wastes that are liquid, toxic, hazardous, infectious or explosive.

ITEMS IN CARDBOARD BOXES WILL NOT BE PICKED UP.
