Of the 4,739 people living in Ringgold County, Iowa in 2021, 50.7% (2,403) were women and 49.3% (2,336) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by South Iowa News.

Data showed the average age for women in Ringgold County in 2021 was 47 years, higher than the national average of 40 for women.
