3.3% of Taylor County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Taylor County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 99 people out of the 5,932 living in Taylor County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Taylor County has increased compared to the 2.7% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Taylor County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.9%.
