U.S. Representative Zach Nunn hosted U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins in Iowa to focus on the state's agriculture industry. The tour, held with Governor Kim Reynolds, U.S. Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks, and Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig, involved visits to various agribusinesses across the state.
Representative Nunn expressed his appreciation for his guests, highlighting the importance of such visits. "The hands, hearts, and hard work of Iowa’s farmers feed and fuel the world. Iowa’s producers have a fighter in Secretary Brooke Rollins, and I was honored to host her in Iowa today for critical discussions," said Nunn. He further stated, "As a member of the House Agriculture Committee, I will always fight to ensure Iowa’s farmers and producers are heard loud and clear."
The group, including Secretary Rollins, made several stops throughout Iowa to engage directly with local farmers. These interactions were aimed at better understanding both the challenges and opportunities within the agriculture sector in the state.
