On Friday, Feb. 21, former Lamoni High School standout Abby Martin’s current college team, the Drake Bulldogs, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Tech Hokies.

The game took place at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Hokies this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium against Alabama Crimson Tide.
