Representative Zach Nunn from Iowa's 3rd District has cast his vote in favor of a reconciliation package aimed at providing permanent tax relief for the middle class. The package is designed to create a pro-growth tax code, enhance national defense and security, and boost American energy independence.

"The bill we’re sending to the President’s desk locks in the largest middle-class tax cut in American history. It rewards hard work, fuels growth on Main Street, and puts more money back in the pockets of Iowa families," stated Rep. Nunn. He emphasized that the bill would also protect benefits for vulnerable populations by eliminating waste and fraud while strengthening national defense through investments in border security. Additionally, it aims to position Iowa farmers and producers as leaders in delivering affordable, American-made energy.

The legislation will proceed to the President for signing into law on July 4th, 2025.
