City of Bedford issued the following announcement on Feb. 13.
REMINDER: Displaying building numbers is not only required by the Code of Ordinances of Bedford, Iowa, but it is also extremely important so that emergency services can respond when needed. If your address numbers are missing or in poor condition, please replace them.
150.02:
2. Display Building Number. The owner shall place or cause to be installed and maintained on the principal building the assigned number in a conspicuous place to the street in figures not less than two and one-half (2 1/2) inches in height and of a contrasting color with their background.
