Notice of Public Hearing: 2020 Asphalt Paving Project
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR THE 2020 ASPHALT PAVING PROJECT CITY OF BLOOMFIELD, IA
Notice is Hereby Given: That at 6:00 PM, at the Bloomfield Library Community Room, 107 N Columbia St, Bloomfield, IA 52537 on March 19, 2020, the City Council of the City of Bloomfield, IA (The “City”) will hold a public hearing on the proposed plans and specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost (the “Contract Documents”) for the proposed 2020 Asphalt Paving Project (the “Project”).
The project will include asphalt overlays and associated work on the following street segments:
● Madison Street, Washington Street to Locust Street
● Arkansas Avenue, US 63 to East Street
● North Street, East Street to Southview Drive
● Crestview Drive/Crestview Circle, North Street to Southview Drive
● Southview Drive, Arkansas Street to North Street
● East Street, Arkansas Avenue to 220’ South of North Street
● East Street, Locust Street to South Street
● South Street, West Street to East Street
● Jefferson Street, West Street to Columbia Street
● Columbia Street, Duffield Street to Arkansas Avenue
● Davis Street, Duffield Street to Goode Street
● Duffield Street, Davis Street to Columbia Street
● Goode Street, West Street to Columbia Street
A copy of the proposed Contract Documents is on file for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk.
At said hearing any interested person may file written objections or present oral comments with respect to the subject matter of the hearing.
