City of Bloomfield issued the following announcement on Mar. 17.
Pursuant to the Health Disaster Emergency Issued by Gov. Reynolds, all restaurants and bars located within the City of Bloomfield are closed as of noon today in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19. This order expires March 31, 2020 at 11:59am, unless terminated sooner or extended by the governor.
Mayor Dan Wiegand issued the following statement, “I would encourage the restaurants that are affected by this order to consider carry-out or delivery in order to lessen the financial burden this inflicts on the business.”
Also affected by this order are fitness centers, theaters, casinos and gaming facilities, senior citizen centers and adult daycare facilities.
