City of Ottumwa issued the following announcement on June 15.
The City of Ottumwa Planning and Development Department is extending the application period for a program that provides matching grants up to $1,000 for exterior home improvement projects. The City launched Healthy Neighbors program in 2019 to provide matching grants up to $1,000 for exterior home improvement projects. Applications are now due before 5:30 on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. Properties selected for awards will be decided by July 8, 2020. Applications are available on the city website at cityofottumwa.com or by contacting the Planning Department at 641-683-0618 or simonsonz@ci.ottumwa.ia.us.
