City of Chariton recently issued the following announcement.
Chariton Youth Basketball Update
The City of Chariton ‘s Park and Recreation Department is working to get the Chariton Youth Basketball Program up and running for the season. The following are dates by ages:
The 4th-6th Grade boys and girls basketball leagues will resume playing games on January 2nd. There will then be games played for this age group on January 9th, 16th, and 23rd.
The K/1st and 2nd/3rd divisions do not have teams coordinated at the moment, but that will be completed next week. Once teams are coordinated a coach will contact the family of the participant. Games for these age groups will take place on January 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th.
