Indian Hills Community College issued the following announcement.
The Indian Hills Culinary Cuisine for Women event was organized by women who have donated a minimum of $100 to the Indian Hills Foundation Women Supporting Women Scholarship. All of the women who donate to this scholarship fund will be invited to a special culinary event sponsored by local businesses and provided by the Indian Hills culinary department. This event will take place September 30, 2021.
Since this fundraising began in 2010, over $90,000, has been raised. We are now able to award four scholarships to non-traditional women for the 2020-2021 school year.
This year, due to increasing concerns and guidance involving the COVID-19 virus the Annual Indian Hills Culinary Cuisine for Women event will be taking on a new format. Rather than holding an in person event, this year, we will be delivering wine boxes to all donors who contribute to the Women Supporting Women Scholarship. Each box will contain a bottle of wine, a limited edition wine glass, and perfectly paired chocolate and cheese to compliment your wine selection. In addition to the wine boxes we will also be hosting a social campaign celebrating our Life.Changing. donors, our scholarship recipients, and the tremendous impact this scholarship has created.
