City of Ottumwa issued the following announcement on November 4.
Ottumwa Water and Hydro is working to repair a water main break in the 500 block of Church St., near Taco Johns. Crews are working onsite and hope to have the repair done later this evening. Water quality will not be effected by this break.
Water customers on the residential streets near the 500 block of Church St. may experience low to no water pressure this afternoon through the evening.
Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes around the work zone while the repair work is being done. Ottumwa Water and Hydro apologizes for the inconvenience and is working to restore service to customers as soon as possible.
