It will soon be time for Gov. Kim Reynolds to let Iowans know about the achievement the state has achieved and the challenges that lie ahead.
Reynolds will deliver her “Condition of the State” address at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Iowa PBS will provide a live-streaming broadcast online, and the speech can be watched on the governor’s Facebook page, the Reynolds’ communication team said on the governor’s website.
The speech, an annual event, will be given at the State Capitol in Des Moines.
No information about the topics was provided, but Reynolds likely will talk about COVID-19’s toll on residents in the state and might even discuss how inflation is affecting Iowans. Past speeches have also included remarks about the state budget and spending.
None of those topics should come as a surprise, as Reynolds touched on most of them last year, as well, when she praised workers for standing tall during the coronavirus pandemic and weather-related challenges that hit the state in 2020.
