Of the 7,754 people living in Creston in 2020, 51.9 percent (4,021) were women and 48.1 percent (3,733) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Iowa News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 77. In the 65 and over age range, there were 822 females and 650 males.
