The street surfacing scheduled to begin on May 31, 2022 on Orchard, Ash, and Elm Streets south of Hayne St. and west of Iowa Ave. was pushed back a day because of rain. The streets will now be closed for installation of a new street surface starting Wednesday, June 1, 2022, and finishing Thursday June 2, 2022. On Wednesday the Contractor will grade the streets and apply a sealer. On Thursday they will be installing the new surface consisting of two layers of chip seal. The streets will be reopened upon completion of the street surface on June 2, 2022.
