The School for Music Vocations (SMV) at Southwestern Community College is hosting a public concert, Light & Gold, on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m., in the college's Instructional Center, room 220. The evening will kick-off with a jazz combo playing from 6:30-7 p.m., as guests arrive.
The concert will feature the SMV Chamber Singers and concert choir, including guest appearances by SMV vocal groups First Take, Audio Radiance, and Modern Sound. Light & Gold will be performed under the direction of Tobi Crawford, SMV faculty member, and will include works by Whitacre, Palestrina, Hogan, Real Group, Pentatonix, Gawthrop, and more.
Admission to the event is free.
