Cost of college went up for all students at Graceland University-Lamoni

Tuition and fees rose 4 percent for 2018-19 at Graceland University-Lamoni, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Iowa students paid $29,240 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,130 more than the $28,110 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 254 students received grants or scholarships totaling $5.6 million and 222 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.6 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,993), 1,088 students used grants or scholarships totaling $21 million, and 960 students took out $7.6 million in federal student loans.
