City of Ottumwa recently issued the following announcement.
Beginning February 3, 2022, TD&I will be closing the southbound lane of N. Washington S.t at the 3rd Street intersection for an emergency utility repair.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and exercise extreme caution when navigating in and around the construction zone.
There will be no on street parking adjacent to this area for safety reasons.
The contractor expects the work to take a couple days to complete, weather permitting.
