U.S. Representative Zach Nunn from Iowa's Third District has announced his nominations for four young Iowans to attend U.S. service academies. The nominees were selected after a comprehensive application process, which involved a selection panel of Iowa veterans and community leaders.

"As a 20-year member of our country’s military, one of the highest honors I have is the opportunity to nominate young Iowans to attend one of the U.S. Service Academies," stated Rep. Nunn. He emphasized the transformative impact of his own military experience and expressed gratitude for the chance to support other young individuals in pursuing similar paths. "Each of these young men have shown commitment to our country and service over self through a challenging, competitive nomination process. I am proud to nominate them to represent Iowa at a Service Academy."

The nominated individuals include Colton Manock from Polk City, Tobin McArthur from Atlantic, Aidan Murphy from Chariton, and Mitchell Swarthout from Mount Ayr.

These nominees will be informed by the U.S. service academies about their admission decisions in the coming months.
